Homework
Homework is an expectation for fourth grade. Homework assignments could include:Dreambox lessons, Lexia, EPIC, math or other activity. Each student is expected to read for 30 minutes each night.
As a fourth grade student, it is expected you will come to school each day prepared, eager to learn, materials ready, and participate with appropriate behavior.
Missed/Make Up Work
Students will have one week to make up missing work. Students will also need to bring a note to school stating why they were absent that particular day so this can be given and marked by our attendance clerk.

GRADES
Water/Snacks
A snack and water bottle will be allowed in class. This is contingent on it not becoming a distraction in class, and as long as students can handle the responsibility. Students will be given a particular snack time each day. Snacks should not include cookies, candy or any sugary drink.
Classroom Management
As a fourth grade team we have rules that apply in our classroom and around the school. These rules are as follows:
There are also consequences for these rules as well. First strike-warning, second strike- teacher choice at recess for 10 minutes, , third strike-teacher choice for entire recess, fourth strike call home, and fifth strike referral.
eLearning
We will implement eLearning in the case of inclement weather. You will receive an all call from the school, this will also be listed on the news and on the district webpage. In this case the students will be required to participate in eLearning for the day. Students will join our Google Meet and utilize our google classroom for their assignments.
