WHAT IS FINANCIAL AID?

• Financial aid can cover the school's cost of attendance such as tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, transportation, and other expenses.

• It's money that helps a student pay for higher education expenses.

• Flexible schedules, up to 20 hrs/week
• Earnings go straight to the student through a check or direct deposit

• United States Citizen or Green Card Holder (permanent legal resident)
• High School Diploma, GED or pass the CA High School Proficiency Exam
• Maintain good academic standing to keep financial aid

Basic Eligibility Requirements

• Are undocumented
• Have a valid or expired DACA status
• Are a U-visa holder
• Have Temporary Protected Status
• Meet the non-resident exemption requirements under AB 540

• First Time, Full Time College Student (Concurrent/ dual enrollment OK)
• Must enroll in 12 or more units per semester.
• Enrollment fees waived (free tuition!)
• Submit a FAFSA or CADAA
• Must be a California resident or AB 540 student
• No income requirement
• No GPA requirement
