Your fourth attempt at the replacement quiz will take place tomorrow.

Today we wrapped up our unit on comparing and ordering fractions, decimals, and percents. We will have a quiz over this tomorrow. Those who score less than 80% on the quiz will have homework tomorrow night in order to improve their quiz grade.

Quiz today.

After the quiz, students worked on ALEKS.

Today is the third in-class ALEKS day. If your goal is to have an “A” in ALEKS, the number in the middle of your pie minus the number of your quarter two starting point (indicated with a trophy on your timeline) should equal a total of 30 topics growth.

If you did not complete your goal amount for today, it is homework.

Comparing fractional numbers quiz and/or HOMEWORK

Copy of description taken from November 6 Canvas Calendar entry:

"Look in PowerSchool. If you received less than an 80% on November 5th's "Page 135 Quiz" over comparing and ordering fractions, decimals and percents, you DO have to do this homework assignment. If you need help with understanding this lesson, click here (Links provided on November 6 Canvas Calendar) for an excellent set of tutorials from the Khan Academy. Watch all of them and do the practice sets. "

This homework grade will replace your low quiz grade. I will indicate with a comment code and a yellow "M" (missing) icon on PowerSchool if a student did not do the homework assignment in order to improve his/her grade. Late papers will not be accepted for this assignment.

If you lost your homework worksheet (or if you were absent on Nov. 5 or 6) see the link on November 6 Canvas Calendar for another copy of the worksheet.

All work must be shown on notebook paper, NOT the worksheet. Thank you!
