During this lab we created robots that would fight each other until the strongest of the robots would mate. Also, we looked at how the next generations of robots would be different from the first generation. Specifically we made our robots have different mutations from the original to have higher chance of survival. We saw that other teams used our designs because our robot had survived and mated. Our team discovered that specific design of creating something that confuses the sensors on the robots helped us win. Sources of error include the powers on motors on each robot could have been unbalanced and could have gave some robots more advantage. Questions we still have include are if we had battled multiple times, would the results have been the same?
