Getting started

Logging in & accessing classrooms

  • Log-in with Classlink, not Google
  • Classrooms>Pending>>Accept
  • Click on the Tiles
    • Start a session
    • Set a schedule in settings

Communicate with students

Talk to your students

  • Turn on the Chat
  • Talk to an individual student
  • Send announcements (individual and group)

Individual:

  • Click on Message bubble, bottom right, then click on an active student name
  • Click on Student tile, then the Chat tab
  • Click the “Send announcement” button

Group:

  • Click on Message bubble, bottom right, then click on the megaphone to send an announcement to the class.

Note: students must click “Got it” to close any announcement.

Scenes:

  • Two modes: Block and Allow
  • Block--
    • Add sites during a session
    • Use *Wildcards* to add non-secure sites
  • Open specific tabs automatically
  • Limit tabs

Use Quick Lists

Add sites to your Blocked scene in student tiles.
