ABOUT WORLD CITIZENS

World Citizen is an international non-governmental organization that provides assistance to nearly 500,000 Africans each year, with services that include everything from operating homeless shelters, creating health centres and conducting disaster relief to providing support for the community in need.

Clothing donations are distributed amongst African communities in need with accepted donations on all kinds of clothing donations, including men’s, women’s and children’s clothes and accessories. They also accept monetary donations

For clothings, donation can be made at a drop-off center near you, or by scheduling a pick-up while monetary donations can be made using Paypal or deposit into organisation account.

Cash donations are used for transporting clothing donations to communities in need and also providing relief materials.

World Citizens App is created to allow smooth donations of monetary or clothing items.

Problem Statement:

Statistics shows that in 2021, there are 490 million people in Africa living in extreme poverty, or 36% of the total population.

World Citizens is on a mission to fight poverty and improve the standard of living in Africa by providing one of the basics necessities “Clothing”.

Product Vision: Platform ensuring smooth donations (both monetary and clothing items) and bridging the gap between donors and beneficiaries across Africa.
