Criteria

  • Call number range (GV 180-1454)
  • Age - 5+ years old (based on receiving date, not publication date)
  • Use - 3 or fewer circulations (pre-Alma + Alma)

Improving the Basic Example with Analytics Features

  • Remove “noise”
    • Hide extra columns
    • Replace meaningless repeated data with bins
    • Clean up publication date column with a Regular Expression to remove non-numeric content
  • Identify items used within last year
    • Conditional formatting to highlight items used within previous 365 days

Finding Copies Held in Different Physical Locations

  • Create analysis of items with same MMS ID with more than one holding record
  • Use that analysis as a filter in your next analysis of details
  • Filter accordingly (by circs, publication, date, etc.)
