So Many Words, So Little Time

Vocabulary acquisition is often a struggle for students.

Allow students to:

  • use images and pictures to explain words
  • explain the word using their own words
  • engage in activities to deepen their knowledge of the new word
  • discuss the new word in groups

Draw 3 Supporting Slides

Use one paper for each of the three things you want your audience to know about your word and draw it. You will use a total of three pieces of paper.

Use pictures and not words.

You want to visualize because you will be narrating the slides.

You can have more than 3 pieces of paper if you have more things to add.
