End of Year Celebrations

WPSD schools celebrated the end of the school year with award ceremonies, move-up events, field days and more. ��Thanks to our teachers and staff for making this time of year both fun and meaningful for our students. There is a lot to celebrate!

In the Heights

Congratulations to the cast and crew of "In the Heights," directed by Judy Jordan! This outstanding production brought together Penn Wood High School alumni, current students from Penn Wood Middle School and the Ninth Grade Academy in a true cross-generational celebration of the performing arts.

Global Day

On May 28, Penn Wood High School hosted its first-ever Global Day, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of our students and staff. The event featured musical performances, traditional dances, guest speakers, student-led cultural presentations, and a multicultural food showcase. Global Day gave students a meaningful opportunity to broaden their perspectives and build mutual respect. ��A special thank you to Ms. Mandy Maphosa and all the staff and students for organizing this celebration.

Dancing Classrooms

Congratulations to the fifth-grade students at Bell Avenue Elementary School who earned a silver medal at the Dancing Classrooms final dance competition.

A special thank you to Ms. Regan and Ms. Wieshner for the time, effort, and enthusiasm they invested in preparing the students for this enriching opportunity.
