Free Rice
Free rice is an organization in which you answer questions and for each question you answer correctly you donate 10 grains of rice to people who need food and cant afford it across the world. My tech class just looked at the site and I donated 300 grains of rice to the needy. In the video I learned that the Free Rice foundation has donated 60 billion grains of rice, thats enough to feed 3 million people a day. The site was very impressive, it shows how much time and effort the people who started this great idea put into this wonderful site. After watching the video and playing the game it shows how many people really need help and you feel sorry but it is great to know that you can help. —Jordan, 8th Grade

Video Conference
Right after a group of middle school students had a video conference with students the same in Ghana, a student got up and said,
"It was mesmerizing. I was able to talk with someone my age all the way in Africa. I learned that they are no different than we are.
I will never think of Africa the same again."
