Problem

Solving

Sometimes, we don’t get along with others. We all make mistakes. Maybe others hurt our feelings or do not play fairly. Or sometimes, we don’t feel in the best mood and can hurt others, too. Use the Wheel of Choice to make good choices and build healthy relationships. This is how we learn from our mistakes.

16 of 19

Let’s Check In with Our Feelings

We very feel different at each moment throughout the day. Sometimes we feel happy and chill. Sometimes we feel grumpy or not in a good mood. And, sometimes we can feel angry or upset. It is important to check in with our feelings and talk to others about our feelings.

17 of 19

Then, have a great day and share your joy with others.

If you feel happy...

If you feel moody or have conflict with others...

Then pause, take a deep breath and find a trusted adult to help you solve the problem.

If-Then Chart

Here’s what you can do when you feel a certain way

01

Then use ThePowell Way to solve conflict. There is always

a solution to a problem. Use your voice and find a solution. Self-advocate.

03

If you feel angry or upset...
