We are the team of creators - Toirzoda Jomi & Bakhtiyor Kurbonov.

Our challenge is “The way to the Sun” and our project is an interactive longread. The story of this challenge is very interesting for us and suits our skills and that’s why we decided to work on this challenge. We wanted to show the greatest trip of all time with animations, simple text and attractive visuals.

We wrote a story about this trip, how long it is, what its mission is and its importance for mankind. The goal of our project is to share this phenomenal story with everyone.

The problem

As we see the project is very unique, but it’s written as a long scientific text that not everyone can understand. We do believe that the mission of the Parker Solar Probe is great and the young generation especially have to be aware of it and stay knowledgeable about it in the future, because such discoveries were never made before in history. We think that storytelling is the best way to promote and popularize this project.

Solution

We came up with this idea when we faced challenges during our research. As a user we noticed that it’s so hard to find all the information in one site with a basic explanation even using the NASA website and other similar sites. We collected the whole story during 48 hours which was too long and demanding. Now. with our project, the user can read the whole story in 5 minutes. We give full access to our readers and save their time fantastically.

Future

We do believe that our project can increase the number of readers and make people more aware of the solar system and the Sun. Also it will be an amazing opportunity for potential users to collect data and find answers when creating projects like ours. As we know, the mission of the Parker Solar Probe is not over yet, and great discoveries about the biggest star are coming, so we are planning to update our site after each new discovery and give access to our readers.
