1. Choose two numbers from the same column of the table and create a fraction. | |
2. Make the root index the same as the number at the top of the column. | |
3. Choose a power. | |
4. Write the term in its simplest form so you can check the terms in your chain. | |
5. Create a chain by using a rule to change the fractional index (e.g., divide by 2). | |
