Welcome!

Welcome Back Class of 2028!

Ms. Goldstein

I have worked as a classroom teacher K-12 (in traditional public, private, and charter schools), curriculum designer, Writer’s Workshop presenter, WASC Coordinator, homeschooling consultant, mindfulness mentor, project manager, camp creator, and tutor for adults and children. I love spending time with my family (two-legged and four-legged), flying with my favorite pilot, and spending time in nature.

I am looking forward to developing the dual enrollment program at Westlake, creating a study skills class set to launch in the spring, and supporting the class of 2028 as an Advisory teacher.

Purpose

Advisory serves as our students’ “home base,” where they will connect with the same peers and class Advisor for the duration of their high school career here at Westlake. It is a space for community support, intra- and interpersonal growth, and social emotional learning. The Advisor helps guide and support student development to ensure a meaningful experience from 9th-12th grade. ~ TKM
