Structure

Functions:

UCO will operate as a bridge between the public and private sector but in parallel will also bring the UN taxonomy, processes and experience into this new Quasi-Governmental governance structure. There will be 5 main functions of this DAO: 

• Global Citizen Accreditation: Create a UN aligned community with Digital Identity Management (Self Sovereign Identity)
• Collaborative Decision Making: DAO smart contract logic will enable democratic, inclusive and transparent governance
• UN SDG Action Certification: Digital measurement reporting and verification, smart impact evaluation standards and social proof mechanisms 
• Education: Once part of the DAO we will provide education around Climate Action and the SDGs. For young activists who are developing ideas they can earn tokens by completing courses and playing climate related games 
• Resource Mobilisation: DAO will facilitate the mobilisation of intellectual, financial and technical resources
