The brief

Could one skilled writer, working with AI, produce an entire quarter of content marketing for a wealth management firm — and would it perform?

Client

A private wealth management firm serving business owners approaching a sale.

Engagement

Run through the world's leading financial content marketing agency.

Method

Every piece drafted and edited with AI. Manual writing was limited to the edges. One writer; the agency team provided support.

Anchor

A twenty-page whitepaper on owner readiness: what a business owner must have in place before a transition.

Program

Twelve weeks of content, each piece tied to a theme of the whitepaper.

Social: the firm's page

The firm's page had been quiet. The campaign was the first sustained program it had run.

  • Engagement rate: from low single digits before the campaign to its highest point of the year, roughly 18%, at the campaign's close.
  • Reach: the campaign months were the page's three strongest of the year.
  • Clicks: the two highest months of the year fell inside the campaign.

Absolute numbers on a small page are small. The direction, and the consistency across three measures, are the point.

What we tell clients now

The AI produced the content. The campaign produced the traffic. The two claims are separate, and both held.

  • One writer with AI can carry a full quarter of content for a financial firm: anchor piece, email, social, and blog, on one set of themes.
  • Quality held. The whitepaper went out under the founder's name with only light manual writing.
  • The writer's judgment is where the value sits: what the audience needs, what the firm can say, and what the AI got wrong.
  • An anchor piece with everything else tied to it outperforms a stream of unrelated posts.
