Accepting Advisor Plan Change from Email Notification

Steps from Email Notification:

  • You will receive an email from noreply.
  • Subject will be: Take Action: Academic Plan Updates from (your Advisor’s name)
  • Click on the here link to bring you to your Academic Plan in Navigate Student

Accepting Advisor Plan Changes from your Email

  • Log into Navigate Student Desktop version
  • Log in using your HCC Email (example: brivera617) and you set password

Accepting Advisor Plan Changes from Navigate

  • Once you log into Navigate from your email, you will be brought to your Messages in Navigate.
  • You can also start from Navigate and click on the Messages icon.
  • After reviewing the message, click on Resolve Suggestions to view the suggestions within your Academic Planner.

Accepting Advisor Plan Changes

You can accept or decline the suggested changes. Know that if you accept changes, you can always make changes to the plan later. If you decline a course, you should reach out to your advisor to discuss the impacts to your overall schedule and academic plan

Accepting Advisor Plan Changes

    • Option1: Click the Accept All button at the top of a Term box, to quickly accept suggestions for an entire Term
    • Option 2: There is also an Accept all Suggestions button in the green banner quickly accept all remaining changes.
    • Note: The decisions you make to accept or reject plan suggestions are saved in the Feedback History.
