What you need

Videos of your games –

continuous recording, no stopping and starting

A YouTube account
SoloStats123 data for each game
Intermediate Subscription which covers

WebReports access
SoloStats VIDEO access

Step 1 - YouTube

Create a YouTube Account

Go to www.youtube.com and sign up for a new account
Once you’ve created an account press Upload at the upper right

You will see this Upload Screen
You should insert your SD Card containing your videos into you computer’s USB port (use a USB SD Card adapter)

Click “Select files to upload”

Locate the SD Card

Double click the directory until you find the video files

Select more than one video by holding down the Shift key

Click Open to start uploading

You will see the video uploading. Select Edit Draft.

Enter a descriptive title to make it easy to locate and use later
Scroll down and set visibility for kids of younger than 13 years old
Go to the top right and select Visibility

It’s critical to set the visibility setting to either Unlisted or Public
If you set it to Private, SoloStats Video will not be able to access it
Unlisted is the best choice to avoid making your video publicly available and usable as scouting video by opponents

Upload

If you have a lot of videos, it’s best to start just before you go to sleep and let the process run overnight.
Make sure to set your computer to NOT Go To Sleep

Step2 – SoloStats and WebReports

In SoloStats 123, Live, Voice or Touch

Press Backup and watch the process bar go to 100%
This will ensure that your stats are uploaded to the WebReports server

Go to www.solostatslive.com and select Login on the navbar at the top right
Then select ”Launch SoloStats Video”

Locate the device and team that you want to sync and click that button

On the Games Tab find your team and the games you want to sync to video

Go to the Setup tab
Click the popup menu and select the game you want to sync

Press the “+ Video” button to add a video

You have two ways to link your YouTube video to SoloStats VIDEO

You can copy the URL for the video you want at YouTube and paste into this box:

Or, you can link your YouTube account and access the videos directly

Once your account is linked, press +Video again and scroll to locate the right video

Click to select

Then OK

Step 7 – SoloStats VIDEO: Sync

Click on the video to start it
Stop the video after the first action.
Find the matching action in the list on the right.
Press the Sync button for that action
The Offset time will change

Step 8 – SoloStats VIDEO: Test Sync

Press the play button for the action that was synced to make sure the action plays properly

If video stops too early, let the video play some more, then stop it and press Sync again.

Select the next action row, then press Play to make sure the Sync is correct

Check every 15^th row to ensure it is synced, if not, click the Pencil in the Offset column and adjust the time

Step 9 – SoloStats VIDEO: �Add Another Video

If there is more than one video for a game, you can add it.
Remember to scroll down the action list until you see a circle that is unfilled indicating no video synced to this point.
Select that row, then press +Video and add the video. Play the video to see if it matches the stat in the selected row. If so, press Sync.
Test the remaining rows for Sync

Using SoloStats VIDEO

Once you have synced a number of games, you can see all the action by filters
Go to the Filter Tab and choose what you want to see.
Clicking on the heading will select or deselect the entire column.

Click on the Results Tab to see the actions. Click on any row to play the video.
If a video stops before the action, press play.

To see the actions in a special order, click on the column headings.
Each column can be sorted in succession so you can sort by team, score and player, for example.

To Share video clips, click the Show Individual Video Links button to show the links to each clip

Select and copy the links you want to share
Paste into your email and send

The user will not have the Setup tab and won’t be able to make any edits

Playlists

You can now create a single URL to share a group of videos that you have Filtered into a Playlist

First Create a Filter like your hitter making kills:

On the Results tab, click the Save Video Clips to Playlist

Name the Playlist

Click on the Playlists tab to see the list of videos that you have filtered.
If you have more than one Playlist, click the menu on the left to select it

Go to the checkboxes on the right to deselect videos that you don’t want to see in your Playlist

Playlist – Share It

To share your Playlist, just copy the URL in the box and send it to your player, parents, coaches or recruiters
When they receive the URL, they can just click and play all the videos

Customizing Your Video

Once you have a playlist you can use any video editor to add titles, shorten the clips, highlight the player and create a more professional video.

Here are some general steps:

Use a video screen capture utility to create a video file – just do a Play All on your Playlist

Click on any Pencil icon to make an adjustment
For example, if the player was incorrect, click the pencil next to the player and to change the name

Select the row you want to add the In-Rally stat after and press Add Stat
Then enter the player and action
