OSEKITA ACADEMY – The Flagship
At Osekita Academy, we aim to:
Osekita Academy is the flagship all-through STEAM academy for Osekita Education Foundation. STEAM stands for Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics. It was established to provide outstanding education for children from the ages of 2 – 18 . It provides education at a very high standard for all children with specific financial support for low income families and robust upskilling opportunities for teachers. We currently provide 75% fees bursaries for up to 160 children, we employ over 30 staff, own a few school buses, built a science laboratory, our own music equipment, languages such as Mandarin and french are taught too. The school has the capacity to provide for 600 children when fully built. This academy is currently funded by family and a few choice friends.
The STEAM specialism will be at the centre of learning at the Academy from a very early age. Puzzles, Maths, Computing, Science, Technology, Languages and the Arts will form an integral part of our broad and balanced British/Nigerian Curriculum.
