To join a Google Classroom, you need to be logged in with your school account.

Once you are logged in, you can go to Google Classroom to join the classes you will need for this year.

You screen should look something like this.

If you have classrooms from previous years, you click the three dots in the upper right corner of the classroom and click “unenroll.” You don’t want your Google Classroom to be crowded with classes you no longer need!

To join a new class, click the plus sign in the top right corner of the window, and select “Join class.”

​

Then , type the code for the classroom you want to join in the space that says, “Class code.”

​

You should see a screen like this one. Double-check that you are currently signed in with your school account.

​

Once you’ve typed in the class code correctly, the join button in the top right will turn blue.

​

Click on that button to join the Google Classroom!

​

You will need to join each of our Google Classrooms (one for each subject), as well as the special subject areas. You can find all of the codes you need on the next slide.

There is a Google Classroom app that can be used on smartphones or iPads!
