Cultivate a More Engaged News Consumer

CORE BENEFITS OF THE GRAPHICS DRIVEN APPROACH

  • So much local news coverage is married to the news cycle at a time when audiences are also expecting insights, context, impact, and an understanding of stories as they unfold
  • Depth of coverage (in an individual story or in a series over time) affords a deeper understanding of complex issues
  • The current news cycle demands a pivot from reacting to the news cycle to managing a protracted coverage cycle with an emphasis on context, trends, and outcomes
  • Graphics and animation assist in the understanding of more complex issues
  • Capture timelines, deliver a sense of place, and connect the dots
  • Enable a deeper understanding of the facts and a higher level of retention
