Our focus is tackling isolation

For people with mild to moderate Dementia

And are not experienced with technology.

A ‘Digital Befriender’ is someone who can help you use technology, and someone you can talk to with technology and in person.

Aims:

Develop a ‘Digital Befriending Kit’ to support Befrienders to use video conferencing and build confidence in using consumer technology.

Starting point:�Assuming person with dementia has no expertise with tech.

And Befriender has little expertise with tech.

Demonstrate, test and get feedback on ideas to support a person with dementia to use a tablet computer to:

  • make video calls with trusted people
  • join online / hybrid community activities..
