I applied the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method and used a From-To Chart to determine the relationships between production areas. Several layout alternatives were developed and then analyzed based on flow efficiency, space utilization, and material handling costs.

PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia
I had the opportunity to participate in an industrial visit to PT Daikin, one of the largest air conditioning manufacturers in Indonesia. During this visit, my fellow Industrial Engineering students and I observed the production process firsthand, from the assembly of AC units to the quality control systems.
