Jan. 25 - Qualifier at St. Margaret’s ( Victoria )

Feb. 22-23 FTC Provincial Championships � St. Margaret’s School ( Victoria )

FIRST Registration $295. US

• Official FIRST Tech Challenge team number
• Access to the FIRST storefront for discounted control system components and robot kit of parts
• Access to resources for team management and career readiness
• Ability to compete for team awards and FIRST Tech Challenge Dean’s List Award
• Team member and alumni access to career discovery opportunities, networking, and the FIRST Scholarship Program.

BC Event Registration $400. CAD

BC FIRST Tech Challenge Event Registration includes:

• Kick-off and Season Launch events
• Workshops
• Coaches and Mentors Meetings
• Qualifiers (both in person and remote options)
• BC FIRST Tech Challenge Championships (if team qualifies)

BC Event Registration 2025/26 Proposal

​

BC FIRST Tech Challenge Event Registration will be increasing to $600.

​

Teams who help with running events will receive a grant of up to $200 per team to reduce their registration costs.

​

Help with events includes running Scrimmages, leading Workshops, hosting Competitions, Planning Team, and providing volunteers for events.��Some grants will be available to teams competing for the first time.

​

Event Volunteers and Organizing Volunteers�

If you have any parents or mentors �on your team who would like to �volunteer, or please sign up with the �FIRST Inspires dashboard or with �check the FIRST Robotics BC website �for upcoming events

What do you need to host a Scrimmage?

• A field and game set.

​

• Find a date and book a location. �
• Let Christine know.�FIRST BC website, FTC Events, FIRST Volunteer system, �covered by the FIRST BC event insurance.�
• Arrange to borrow equipment from FIRST BC.
