  • GT Testing- Offered one time a year in the fall. Students can be nominated by a teacher, parent, or community member. Nomination Periods are announced on parent square.
    • All Kindergarten students take an IQ test in December. Once scores come in, we offer further testing
    • Nominated students (1st- 5th) take an IQ test, Ability Test, parent/teacher survey, and writing/creativity sample that is assessed by designated employees with GT training. Students are anonymous to the graders.
    • All scores are placed on a matrix and are assigned a number in order to remain anonymous.
    • I share the scores with the GT committee. Based on scores and creativity/writing samples the committee decides if the GT program will be a good fit for that student.
    • If students don’t qualify they may test again the next school year.
