How To Change the Resolution of a Photo

Begin by clicking on start, all programs, and Adobe Photoshop.

Now open your photo. File, open, click on photo and click on open.

Your photo should appear. In order to post this picture on a website or web we need to change the size and resolution for better quality.

Checking the image size and resolution. Click at the top on image, resize, and image size.

*Always remember to check the

resolution! Keep in mind the size.

Resolution should be at 72.

Too big!

Click on resolution and change to 72. Then hit ok.

*Your picture may seem like it has shrunken but it will appear as it original side when you post it on the web.

*Save it as a new file or you could replace it with the old one.

Now your picture is ready to upload on a website.

Here I am going to upload my photo on my googlesite. I click on edit page, insert image, and click on the photo I want to insert and it should open.

Click on image and hit ok.

My picture has successfully uploaded with the correction resolution making it the best quality to view it.
