In support of New York Inspires, the PLAN Pilot looks at how performance-based learning and assessment approaches can be implemented in a diverse range of schools – urban & rural, large & small, with different student demographics; and how to support schools in making that transition.

  • Each composed of 2-3 of the 23 diverse PLAN Pilot Schools and one exemplary PLAN Mentor School
  • Each supported by an expert professional learning provider operating a PLAN TAC

Purpose:

  • To glean insights into pilot school experiences preparing to or starting to make shifts in instruction and assessment

Objectives:

  • To analyze similarities and differences in experiences across schools related to instructional and assessment shifts
  • To analyze conditions and supports for educators making changes in their instructional and assessment practices
