Excellent scenarios/feedback – 20 mins

Take a coloured counter and find the people with the matching token.

In your groups discuss the scenario and decide if it would have been an excellent lesson, and if not, what improvements could have been made.

Things to consider

  • We are only human!
  • Some days, just surviving the day is excellent!
  • Use opportunities to observe colleagues in school/ASG schools who can share ideas with you.
  • Ask for feedback from observations and don’t be afraid to ask “What would you do?”
  • Ask to be observed by colleagues other than your mentor (Teachers who have students can be released from class for a short time/feedback from visiting specialists/feedback from SMT are all valuable)
