Course Schedule

Each class is divided into two sections:

  • The first section, instructor will introduce the theories behind computer graphics.
  • The second section is hands-on lab using Unity. You will learn the practical skills through examples.

Programming Requirement

  • Students do not need to have strong programming background since multiple comprehensible programming examples will be shown in the class.
  • Students are expected to learn the basic concepts of each computational method and follow the programming examples to develop programming projects individually or with a team.
  • Do not skip any lab! Student who skips labs may fail in projects.

Programming Projects

  • All the programming projects are team projects.
  • Each team includes 2~3 students.
  • In general, team members are graded together (exactly same grade). However, all project reports have to describe the contribution of each member for grading references.

Changing Partners

  • You may change partner between projects.
  • Changing partner within a project is not allowed, but “divorce” is allowed.

Grading

  • Lab 30% (based on finished time and completeness)
  • Projects 70%
    • Project A (20%)
    • Project B (20%)
    • Project C (30%)

Grading: Lab 30%

Based on finish time:

  • (100%) V+: finish before the end of the day with complete functions.
  • (85%) V: finish on time (before next lab) with complete functions
  • (75%) V-: finish late or with some defection in the codes
  • (0%) X: unfinished

    • 15% presentation of program function.
    • 5% documentation (report)

    • 20% presentation of program function.
    • 10% documentation (report)
