Who we are!!

"Pyan Tone Kya Mal" is a student-led project promoting waste management awareness in Myanmar. Four Parami University students, including freshmen and a sophomore, collaborated with the Parami Environmental Club. The project spanned Yangon and Taunggyi, partnering with IDI to reach the Parami community and beyond.

WHY - 3R

Our planet faces a growing waste management challenge. Myanmar is no exception. This project sought to address this issue by:

    • Raising awareness: Educating citizens and stakeholders about the importance of waste reduction, reuse, and recycling (the 3Rs).
    • Promoting action: Encouraging individuals and communities to adopt sustainable waste management practices.
