    • We use a simplified version to highlight specific problems. While we use a realistic model for our ballpark estimates, we do not try to model other important issues in running production systems.
    • We use our starter tools we learn in cs145 on Locks and Logs. (With more tools from cs245 and 346, we can do better.)
