About Laboratory
Concrete Technology Laboratory provides facilities to conduct all quality control tests on cement, aggregates and concrete (Fresh and hardened). In a building construction, concrete is used for the construction of foundations, columns, beams, slabs and other load bearing elements. The concrete technology lab is established to train students to carry out tests on common construction materials such as concrete, cement, Bricks etc. Following test can be performed in concrete technology lab.
Consistency of Cement : Standard water requirement for rich cement paste
Sieve Analysis : To find the particle size for different grade of mortar concrete.
Slump Cone Test: Workability of concrete
Split tensile strength: To find the tensile strength of concrete in tension member like beam.
compressive strength : To find the Compressive strength of concrete cube for compression members.
