Geography is the science of recognizing, analyzing, and explaining the variations, similarities, or differences in phenomena located on and around the Earth.

Two sub disciplines:

Physical Geography – Studies the spatial characteristics and phenomena of natural environments including rock structures, landforms, vegetation, soils, weather, climate.

Human Geography – Studies the spatial patterns of interactions between human beings and their physical environment.
