Activity 4-
Write these in number form
With a partner, practice naming the big numbers.
With a partner, get a pencil and a piece of scrap paper and 5-6 dice (collect from Mrs Ilaoa and must be returned at the end of the session) and one person rolls all the dice and the other partner, must use the numbers rolled to create a number to write down which the person who rolled the dice has to say out loud. Remember to use your place value houses if you get stuck!
Activity 5- Create a how-to video!
Using your chromebook, get a partner from your maths group and create a how-to video explaining an example of place value! Use paper, whiteboards, pencils and markers to help!
