Postpaid Meter Bill amount Adjustment

  • If Consumer Payable amount showing in Negative then Amount will be adjust in next bill.
  • If Consumer Payable amount showing in Positive so consumer have to pay.

1.Negative Payable Amount (e.g., -₹150):-

→ This means UPPCL owes you money — you have a credit balance.

→ Example: You might have overpaid in the last bill, or received an adjustment.

→ Action: You don’t need to pay anything this time.

→ The credited amount will automatically adjust in your next bill (reducing what you owe next time).

2.Positive Payable Amount (e.g., ₹320):-

→ This means you owe UPPCL money — it’s your actual payable amount.

→ Action: You must pay this amount before the due date to avoid disconnection or penalty.

Prepaid Meter Bill amount Adjustment

  • If Consumer Balance Showing in Positive, then supply will continue and amount will be deducted as per consumption.
  • If Consumer Balance Showing in Negative, then consumer has to recharge immediately to continue electricity supply.

Explanation:-

1.Positive Balance (e.g., ₹250.00):-

�→ You still have ₹250 in your prepaid account.

  • Supply will continue normally.
  • The meter will keep deducting amount as you use electricity.
  • No action needed until balance goes low.

2.Negative Balance (e.g., -₹50.00):-

�→ Your prepaid balance has run out.

  • You must recharge immediately to restore/continue supply.
  • Once you recharge, the negative amount will be adjusted first, and remaining amount will be available for usage.

Prepaid Smart Meter - Key Information-(In Hindi)

1. उपभोक्ता को पोस्टपेड मीटर से प्रीपेड मीटर में परिवर्तित किया गया है।

2. परिवर्तन के बाद, पहले जमा की गई सिक्योरिटी राशि समायोजित की जाएगी।

3. उपभोक्ता को पिछले बिल की तिथि से परिवर्तन की अवधि का बिल जमा करना होगा।

4. भुगतान मोबाइल ऐप, वेबसाइट www.uppcl.org, PayTM, G-Pay आदि से किया जा सकता है।

5. परिवर्तन के बाद 30 दिन तक ग्रेस पीरियड दिया जाएगा।

6. मीटर रीडिंग अब आपके परिसर में नहीं होगी।

7. बिल और रसीद मोबाइल ऐप और वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध होंगे।

8. उपभोक्ताओं को 2% छूट दी जाएगी।

9. विलंब से भुगतान करने पर ब्याज लगेगा।

10. सभी सूचनाएं एसएमएस से भेजी जाएंगी।

11. उपलब्ध बैलेंस की जानकारी मोबाइल ऐप पर देखी जा सकती है।

12. ग्रेस पीरियड 6 AM से 8 AM के बीच नहीं होगा।

13. UPPCL Lek VZ ऐप डाउनलोड करें।

14. Domestic उपभोक्ताओं को 30 दिन का ग्रेस पीरियड मिलता है।

Prepaid Smart Meter - Key Information-(In English)

1. Your electricity connection has been converted from Postpaid to Prepaid.

2. The previously deposited security amount will be adjusted in your account.

3. You must pay the bill for the period between the last postpaid bill date and the conversion date.

4. Payment can be made via UPPCL LekVZ mobile app, website www.uppcl.org, PayTM, G-Pay, etc.

5. A grace period of 30 days is provided after conversion.

6. Meter reading will no longer be done at your premises.

7. Bills and receipts can be viewed through the mobile app and website.

8. Consumers will get a 2% rebate on timely payments.

9. Late payment surcharge will be applicable for delayed payments.

10. All notifications will be sent via SMS.

11. Available balance details can be checked on the mobile app.

12. Disconnection will not occur between 6 AM to 8 AM during the grace period.

13. Download the UPPCL LekVZ app for easy access.

14. Domestic consumers are eligible for a 30-day grace period.
