Exit Ticket Examples

Kindergarten- Ashley Stout- Positional Words

2 of 6

Students used Kidpix in Computer lab to design a picture to our Positional Words Lesson that was taught before heading to Computer Lab.

A parent volunteer in computer lab helped with typing the sentence for their exit ticket.

Snagit was used to copy from the computer to a Google Slideshow.

Many students used apples or trees because of the teacher example shown.

If I was to complete this assignment again- I would tell the students to think of something that is not a tree or an apple.

I loved how this student thought outside the box and used a real world example of his kickball getting kicked into the swimming pool in his backyard.

He told me that mom and dad were angry.

This little girl wanted to draw herself. It worked!

Reflection

Overall, I think that exit tickets can really work in a Kindergarten Classroom, but set rules need to be in place. As you can tell from the slides, many students used the same colors as my example, as well as even copying the teacher example picture.

I would try this again, but probably use it in a non-technology way were the students would have to color in an answer choice, because of the difficulty they had designing something that was orginial.
