Why does the Human Rights Team exist?
Human Rights are essential to enable the 2030 Vision.
The Human Rights Team (HRT) supports volunteers being persecuted by governments or other organized actors for their good faith contributions to the movement.
“Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.”, Article 3, UDHR
Not every Wikimedian around the world can freely and safely share in the sum of all knowledge - that’s why the Human Rights Team exists.
