Students are not permitted to self-administer medication in school (all meds - prescription and nonprescription - can only be administered by the school nurse)
Physicals are required annually for interscholastic sports – they are valid for 13 months

Special Education Parent Advisory Council

Who we are: A network of parents, guardians, educators and other community members who work for the understanding of, respect for and support of, all children with special needs in the community.
What we do:

Advise the District on matters pertaining to children with special needs;
Share information and discuss matters of common concern and interest;
Offer speaker events, workshops, and other programs for families and children
Fundraise to provide support to the schools, offer events and programs, award scholarships. etc.

Meetings: Sept 18th 7pm and most 3^rd Tuesdays of the month at the Blake Middle School Library
