WSLL Mission Statement

All Directors, Officers, and Members shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary and the molding of future citizens is of prime importance.

Quick Note about our Facilities:

  • Our fields are FUSD Property

  • Built by WSLL, maintained by WSLL

including: fences, buildings, shade, fields, water fountains, electrical lines, water lines, mowing, weeding, fertilizer, drainage, trash, vandalism repair, etc.

School does nothing. We pay a grandfathered rent for use of the fields.

Dogs

  • Our fields and public schools are not a dog park.

  • WSLL volunteers and board members should not have pick up dog poop.

  • We have removed two gates to our fields to discourage the bad dog owners from using the fields as a dog park.

Volunteers Overview

WSLL is an all volunteer-run operation and depends on parents stepping up. Each person has unique ways they can help.

Coaching and managing are just two ways. Helping coaches and managers before, during, and after games and practices is just as important.

But what are the less observable ways to volunteer?
