1. Advise the Cabinet Department on matters pertaining to wildlife policy, strategy and legislation.
2. Provide advice to the National Government, County Government, and land owners on wildlife conservation and management
3. Ensure optimum carrying capacity of wildlife within Parks & Reserves
4. Ensure genetic viability of species in Parks & Reserves
5. Maintain ecological integrity of parks & reserves
6. Ensure security of wildlife and visitors within PA’s (exceptional for County)
7. Securing of PA boundaries from encroachment
