In 2020-2021, we will increase the percent of students meeting & exceeding Kindergarten fall benchmarks from 51.2% low risk to 62% low risk.

Fall 2020 Results – 59.9% of Kindergarten students were in the Low Risk category as per FAST Early Reading assessment. This improved to 66.1% in spring of 2021 with Adaptive Reading assessment “low risk” and “exceeds” results.

In 2021-2022, we will increase the percent of students meeting & exceeding Kindergarten fall benchmarks from 59.9% low risk to 65% low risk.

a) In 2020-2021, 83% of all Third Grade students will meet or exceed spring FAST adaptive reading benchmarks of low risk or college pathway.

 

b) In 2020-2021, 65% of all Third Grade students will meet or exceed proficiency based upon the MCA reading assessment.

a) Spring 2021 FAST adaptive reading assessment indicated that 66.7 % of Third Graders were in the exceeds, or low risk level with 7% in the high risk level only.

b) Spring 2021 MCA reading results indicated 45.1% of Third Graders met/exceeded proficiency.

a) In 2021-2022, 83% of all Third Grade students will meet or exceed spring FAST adaptive reading benchmarks of low risk or college pathway.

 

b) In 2020-2021, 60% of all Third Grade students will meet or exceed proficiency based upon the MCA reading assessment.

TCU Montgomery:

Student Learning Goal: The percentage of all students in grades 1-8 at Tri-City United Montgomery Pre K-8 who are at Low Risk or College Pathway in FAST aReading Adaptive Assessment will increase from 60% as of Oct. 1, 2021 to 65% in Spring of 2022 by using research based strategies such as AVID methodologies, PRESS interventions and other best practice delivery methods.

TCU Le Center:

Student Learning Goal: The percentage of all students in grades 1-8 at Tri-City United Le Center Pre K-8 who are at Low Risk or College Pathway in FAST aReading Adaptive Assessment will increase from 59.03% as of Oct. 1, 2021 to 63.03% in Spring of 2022 by using research based strategies such as AVID methodologies, Press Interventions, and other best practice delivery methods.

TCU Lonsdale:

Student Learning Goal: We will increase our K-6 FAST aReading achievement from 61% of students in the Low Risk and College Pathway categories to 65% of students in the Low Risk and College Pathway categories from Fall 2021 to Spring 2022 by using research-based strategies such as AVID methodologies, PRESS Interventions, and other best practice delivery methods.

TCU High School:

Student Learning Goal: The percentage of all students in grade 11 at Tri-City United High School who meet or exceed college readiness benchmarks in math (22) and reading (22) as measured on the ACT will increase from 17% in 2021 to 21% in 2022.

Tri-City United approved for 2019-2020 - 3 year plan

    • Purpose: pursue racial and economic integration, increase student achievement, create equitable educational opportunities, and reduce academic disparities based on students' diverse racial, ethnic, and economic backgrounds in Minnesota public schools.

Eligibility

    • Racially Isolated (RI): Enrollment of protected-class students district-wide is more than 20 percent, compared to the number of protected-class students in one of their adjoining districts.
    • Adjoining: District physically adjoins a racially isolated district.

Funding

  • Total A&I Revenue is comprised of Initial Revenue and Incentive Revenue. A&I Revenue is 70 percent state aid and 30 percent local levy.
