ABOUT SCHOOL

  • The young copper industry, which was developing in the early 1960s, needed qualified staff, which is why in 1962 a decision was made in Lubin to set up mining schools.

In 1973 he was given the name of Professor Bolesław Krupiński, dicoverer of Polish copper.

  • From 1990, our school is called Complex of School No. 1 in Lubin.

In addition to the main building, the school also has a sports hall and workshops.

-electrical technician

-miner technician

-IT specialist

-mechanical technician etc.

SCHOOL TRADITIONS

Solemnly celebrated at the school is the miners' feast - the traditional Barbórka.

  • Students have the opportunity to learn about mining customs, including the famous stroke through the skin, illustrating the habit of admitting young people to the mining brothers and listen to the performance of the school brass band.

  • Lubin is one of the richest city in Poland. In Lubin, KGHM Polska Miedź, one of the leading producers of copper and silver in the world, was established in 1961.
