Iron Horse Middle School

2025

Electives

2 of 18

Our Goal

  • Inform you about requirements such as GPA minimums and applications for certain classes
  • Explain how to sign up

3 of 18

Some electives have a minimum GPA requirement: set yourself up now to have the best elective choices available to you!

  • If you are getting Cs or below right now, use the remaining quarter of 6th grade to bring your grades up…you can do it!

  • If you are getting B’s or better, keep up the good work and keep aiming high!

4 of 18

And now, here are some good questions to ask yourself to help you choose the best elective for you:

  • Do I want a yearlong or semester elective?
  • Am I eligible for electives that have a GPA requirement, or for application-required electives?
  • Do I want to try different things or stick to what I know?
