Problem Statement: While admins are able to customize the Waitlist Activation email when moving a player off the waitlist, they were not able to edit the default waitlist activation message at program or even portal level. Orgs often need to provide specific, timely information in this message, and editing the template for activation meant a LOT of cumbersome copy/paste efforts at best.

  • When any division has the waitlist feature enabled, a new section displays in the Notes step of Program Setup (step 6)
  • The system default content auto populates; no changes to existing content or styling (includes the macro to pull in [Participant First and Last Name] and [new order id]
  • The default content can be edited at any time and changes are applied at program level real-time
  • There is a ‘Restore Default Content’ option available below the content area; it can be used at any time and will update all future Waitlist Activation messages for the specific program
  • The Waitlist Activation Notes section must not be empty when enabled; if attempting to save an empty container, the admin will receive an error message that ‘Waitlist Activation Notes must not be empty’
  • The preview feature is available also for the Waitlist Activation Notes
  • The BCC feature is available also for Waitlist Activation Notes (add/remove recipients at any time)
  • If the admin uses copy/clone, the content of the copy-from program carries over to the new program
  • When the admin is activating a player off the waitlist, the content set up in Step 6 will present in the flow but can be edited for the player they are activating

Problem Statement: some parents do not pay attention to the instructions in confirmation emails to direct inquiries to [the email that displays]. They instead hit reply to the unmonitored postmaster@bluesombrero (sometimes with important requests/inquiries), expecting an answer. Especially if it is a time sensitive matter, this is creating frustration with parents and regions/clubs.

Problem Statement: Bulk email does not require a Reply To address. If the user does not put something in the field, it defaults to the email address on the Admin’s account. This is a problem because many Admins use their personal email and not their "official" club email.

Problem Statement: in the Program edit flow, the program name is not displayed in steps 3-6. The admin often has to click back and forth to confirm that they are indeed editing the intended program, especially when having multiple tabs (programs) open at once
