IF: advice - conditional

Ex. If you see a bear, don’t run

IF = WHETHER + Will / be going to (to refer to the future)

Ex. I don’t know if you’ll like it.

He isn’t sure whether he’s going to buy a car or a motorcycle.

AS SOON AS / WHEN(sth will happen immediately after another action)

Ex. We’ll leave as soon as you arrive home.

She’ll come back when the cows come home!

AS SOON AS / WHEN + present perfect (to talk about completed actions)

Ex. We’ll leave as soon as I’ve finished (=finish)
