Ride booking of e-ricks, cycle, e-bike & the payments of any ride done by user is maintained through app
For creating an account in the app, user will have to maintain some security amount in the app.(Rs. 500)
The user can book any one of the three - e-rickshaw, cycle, and e-bike; at most 10 minutes before the ride.
User have to scan the QR code on cycle or on e-bike for starting & ending the ride
After each ride, money will be automatically deducted from the app wallet according to the time of the ride.
If the user is unable to pay for a ride due to low or insufficient balance, he will not be able to book another ride until he does the previous payment.
Security money will be deducted if the user does not return the cycle/e-bike in a day or if the condition of returned vehicle is not up to the mark.
The user will have to park the cycle/e-bike only on designated stands which can be located in the map displayed on the app. If the user wants to stop at a place which is not nearby any stand, he/she can pause the ride for which charges will be levied accordingly.
User can raise issues if they face any problem in doing payment or in using any of the three services.

APPENDIX-1
REVENUE MODEL OF CYCLES
Total no. of cycles available(in working condition):- 600
Average cost of renovating one cycle (This includes
Changing tyres, repairing brakes and chain, polishing and painting etc.)
= Rs. 700
Hence total cost of renovating( One–Time Expenditure):- 600 * 700
= Rs. 4,20,000
Per Month (average) cost of maintenance and repairing = Rs. 50
Hence, total monthly expenditure on cycles:-50 *600= Rs 30,000
Usage Price:- Rs.10 for the first 30 minutes
Rs.5 for subsequent 30 minutes
Pause Charges: Rs. 5 for every 30 minutes
On an average, total number of rides per day:- 1000
Hence, revenue generated per day:- Rs. 5,000
Hence, revenue generated per month:- 5000 * 30 =Rs. 1,50,000
Net revenue generated per month through cycles:-
Rs. 1,50,000-Rs. 30,000 = Rs. 1,20,000
REVENUE MODEL OF E-RICKSHAWS
Current Scenario:-
On an average, number of travellers in one trip:- 3
Price charged per traveller per trip:-Rs 10
Hence, amount received in one trip:- Rs. 30
Number of trips made by one E-rick in a day:- 40
Revenue generated by one E-rick in a day through trips:-
Rs. 30 * 40 =Rs. 1200
Charging cost of one E-rick per day:- Rs. 50
Hence net revenue generated per day by one E-rick:-
Rs.1200- Rs.50=Rs. 1150
No. of rickshaws currently active in campus = 25
Total revenue generated through 25 E-ricks in a day:- Rs. 28,750
Total revenue generated through 25 E-ricks in a month:- Rs. 8,62,500
After explaining and discussing our model with E-rick drivers in campus,
we found out the number of rides could be significantly increased from 40 to
at least 50 per day if a proper system was in place.
After integrating with our app:-
Revenue generated by one E-rick through trips:- Rs. 30*50= Rs.1500
Charging cost:- Rs. 60
Net revenue generated by one E-rick per day:- Rs.1440
Commision paid to our firm = 7.5%:- Rs.108
Earning of E-rick driver per day:- Rs.1332
Total revenue generated per month:- Rs.1440*30*25= Rs.10,80,000
Net profit (For our Firm)= Rs. 81,000 per month

APPENDIX-2
REVENUE MODEL OF E-BIKES
Obviously, Those E-bikes which are used, will not be used with full capacity, some will be used up by a 100% and some less than 50%.
Hence on an average, we can safely assume that in a day, all e-bikes will be used and upto 50% capacity.
Hence, per day on an average, an e-bike will be used for 50% of its capacity.
Now, e-bike can run for 60 km with a full charge.
So 50% usage of battery means it will run for 30km.
Number of rides in a day=30/1.2 =25 rides
Considering average speed as 15km/hr, this ride will take 5 minutes.
Hence, on an average we can say that 1 ride will generate a revenue of Rs.10 (as per our price stated above)
Now total no. of rides per day is 25*350=8750 rides
Revenue generated per day= Rs. 10* 8750 = Rs. 87500
Revenue generated per month= 30*Rs.87500
=Rs. 26,25,000
Cost of charging:-
According to our assumption, all E-bikes will have to be charged 50%.
Time taken to charge from 0 to 100%:- 6 hours
Hence, time taken to charge from 0 to 50%:- 3 hours
Power rating of an e-bike:- 0.96kWh
Non-domestic price of 1 unit (kWh) of electricity as per UPCL:- Rs. 5.15
Hence total cost of charging per day:- Rs. 5.15*0.96*3*350 = Rs. 5,191.2
Total cost of charging per month:- Rs 5,191.2 * 30 = Rs. 1,55,736
Hence net revenue per month:- Rs. 26,25,000- Rs. 1,55,736= Rs. 24,69,264
Source:https://driving.ca/column/motor-mouth/motor-mouth-how-many-ev-charging-stations-will-we-really-need
For every 10 e-bikes, 1 charging point is needed.
Total number of e-bikes:- 350
Hence, total number of charging ports required is:- 35
Assuming 15 surplus for heavy workload days, total number of charging points required :- 50
Number of stations we plan to build:- 4
Hence, number of ports per station:- 12.5
So, we will build two stations with 13 ports and two with 12 ports.
Cost of setting up 1 port:- Rs.50,000
Total Cost of setting up 50 ports:- 50 * Rs. 50,000
=Rs. 25,00,000
Estimation of the distance travelled by an e-vehicle on an average, Bhawan to LHC = 1.2 km.
Distances :-
RJB, RKB, RJB, CAUTLEY and GANGA to LHC = 0.850 km
KB, JWH, SB, SAC to LHC = 1.6km
