#4 - No Missing Work

• Give yourself a chance!!
• Doing work is necessary practice not just for tests, but for learning Spanish skills we build on until you’re fluent!
• If you don’t DO YOUR WORK -- completely! -- and KEEP IT (in the right place in your binder), you have no chance to get any credit.

#5 - Ask Questions

• If You’re Confused, Ask
• If you don’t want to ask Profe Katy, ASK SOMEONE at your table, or read the directions!
• If you missed the directions, still ask. Just say “Hey, I was distracted, sorry.”

#6 - Use Your Teachers as a Resource

• Profe Katy is here to help
• Get to know her so she knows how to help you
• Communicate -- If you need something, please just say why you need your head down/etc.

#7 - Focus Up!

• Using your phone/having a conversation in class makes concentrating way harder.
• Put your phone down, put it away (in your bag), or put it up.
• Finish your conversation quickly, or wait until the end of class/passing period.

#8 - Use your TIME!

• Profe Katy can’t help if you don’t USE YOUR TIME well in the classroom.
• Get a pass & come in for Advisory!
• Make an appointment to come in a different time!
