Title I Meeting�Section 1116(c)(1) and (2), ESEA

  • Every year the Hermitage School District schools served under Title I, Part A are to hold an annual meeting for parents, to inform parents of their school’s participation in the Title I, Part A program, the program requirements, and the rights as parents to be involved.

  • Hermitage School District schools invite parents/guardians of all children who are participating in the Title I, Part A program and impress upon them to attend.

The Annual Title I Meeting is held to disseminate information to parents of participating children about the Title I, Part A program and about their involvement in their child’s education.

Proficiency levels the students are expected to meet

Hermitage High School will decrease the percentage of students in the area of reading who are “In Need of Support” by 5% and increase the percent of “Ready” or “Exceeding” students by 5% during the 2023-2024 school year.

Hermitage High School will decrease the percentage of students in the area of math who are “In Need of Support” by 5% and will increase the percent “Ready” or “Exceeds” by 5% on the 2024 state assessment from the 2023 ACT Aspire.

Hermitage High School will decrease the total number of behavior infractions by 10% and improve attendance points by 1% each.

Parent Suggestions regarding Involvement & Engagement as of 10/23/23

  • Americorp Workers assist students in grades K-2 instead of 3-6 one on one.
  • Work with our students to Read and Read to learn.
  • Determine ways to build background knowledge.
