Assignments are expected to be turned in on the due date. Not before or after. Please view our weekly agenda for the due dates. All work must be turned in within two weeks of the due date or the assessment will be given a 50%. If you have an emergency or go on vacation, notify me as soon as possible so your assignment will not be penalized.

TURNING IN ASSIGNMENTS

Assignments will be turned in electronically through google classroom. Assignments that have been emailed or “shared” through google drive are not considered to be turned in and will not be graded. RESTROOM / WATER BREAKS

Go to the restroom and drink water before class. Only one student may go to the restroom at a time. Fill out restroom check out sheet before leaving the classroom.

CHROMEBOOKS: Chromebooks are a privilege and will be used often. Students are expected to abide by all school digital safety rules and guidelines. Students are not to be playing games, using messenger sites, or surfing the internet during class time.

CELLPHONES: Out of respect for the learning environment, all electronics are to be put away in your backpack unless permission has been granted (and DON’T ASK!). Student who break the rules will be warned first. The second time they will have their phone confiscated and sent to admin for parent pick-up. In addition, the student will be asked to turn in their cell phones when they arrive to class each day.

Food and Drink Policy

No food or drink, other than water, is allowed in the classroom unless given permission by the teacher. Allergy information will be collected during the first week of class.

Book Checkout Policy: When you checkout a book from the classroom, you will fill out the book loan checkout sheet. If a student repeatedly does not return books, book checkout privileges will be voided.

Office Hours!

During distant learning, I will be supporting your learning by offering office hours. This will be one on one time for me to assist you individually with your assignments and learning goals. During this time, you can ask questions about an assignment(s) and I can help you through them.

Day: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday

Time: 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Every monday I will send out a form for you to request a meeting during office hours. If you want to request a meeting for the same day, email wanningenam@guajome.net
