Introduction

I would like to present to you our project for Sustainable Development and Environmental Interventions which is about solar and wind energy and its importance in achieving the SDGs and what is the role of Hayah Karema in this subject and what it has achieved.

Pillar of Hayah Karema

Hayah Karima applies green building standards, solar lighting, and solar street lighting.

Also, among the projects implemented by Hayah Karima are the local unit projects in Beni Suef, the solar energy project on the roof of the local unit building of the village affiliated with the Biba Center.

In Luxor Governorate, solar energy stations are being established in several schools in the centers of Armant and Esna.

In Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, work has been carried out on 66 stations above the roofs of schools in Kafr El-Sheikh, in the village of Sherbin , Mutobas , and Kafr Saad.

Solar& Wind energy is related to:��Quality of life (goal n 1): solar and wind energy protect us from disease because it doesn`t make any negative impact.��Strong Economy (goal n 3): It saves a lot of money because we get electricity from a natural source.��Environmental Sustainability (goal n 5): It doesn`t harm the environment and doesn`t cause any pollution.

There are five main factors, but in this topic, we talked about the three most important factors that affect our topic.��Pollution�Some solutions to eliminate pollution:Use of solar and wind energy helps reduce global warming Clean technology development.��Resilience �Absorption : the pressure on electricity and the increased cost, so must solve. �Adaptive : starting to see alternative, ideas. �Transformation : starting making solar energy houses and schools.

Participation�Among the most important participants in solar energy and wind energy are the investors, the government and Hayah Karima.��Among the most prominent areas that have been worked on are Benban in Upper Egypt and some areas in the Western Desert.

We will discuss some ideas to support solar and wind energy , for example:

Governments can provide incentives such as tax credits, and advertisements to encourage the development and use of wind and solar energy.

Community solar programs allow individuals and businesses to invest in solar energy projects.

Increasing public awareness and education on the benefits of wind and solar energy.

Partnerships between government, businesses, and communities can help fund and develop wind and solar energy projects.
